Non-Adjustable Block Planes

Inexpensive but serviceable planes. Screw operated cap clamps. Bottoms polished. Sides and cap black enameled. (1938 description)



Especially useful in pattern making, model building or where the work is in close quarters. Bottom is polished; sides and clamp red and gray enameled. Screw operating cap clamp is nickel plated. Solid tool steel cutter iron. Length 3½”. (1961 description)

Additional Notes:

A handy sized block plane used by model and instrument makers. A standard 20 degree bedding angle for the cutting iron. Body and cap were black-enameled on early models but were then enameled in gray and red from around 1952 onwards.

From 1956 to around 1960 the planes were shipped as part of the V-Line (Value Line) range.

The sides of these planes were not milled.
