Millers Falls No 95 Weather-Strip Plane
Millers Falls No. 95 Weather-Strip Plane
as illustrated in the Millers Falls catalog No. 41 (January 1936).

No. 95 Weather-Strip Plane

Specially designed for rabbeting window sash for the installation of metal weather stripping. It is identical to No. 85 with the addition of a polished steel fence which is clamped rigidly in place by a knurled thumb nut. When the fence is removed the plane can be used for ordinary types of rabbeting.

There are two seats for the cutter, one for regular work and a forward seat for bull-nosed work. Regular equipment includes spur and removable depth gauge, also an adjustable guide that can be used on either side of the plane or left off entirely, giving a wide range of usefulness.

The cutter, 1½ inches wide, is made of solid, fine quality high carbon steel and is adjustable for depth when used in the rear seat.

Frame nicely black enameled. Exposed steel parts well polished or nickel plated. (1938 description)
